Visy - Improving Recycling Practices

This lesson aims to encourage students to participate in a social action project to improve recycling practices in their school. The project involves learning about the positive impact of recycling, researching recycling procedures and habits within their school, developing ideas for improvement, and taking action. Students will develop a range of skills related to planning, organization, collaboration, and communication, as well as contribute to individual well-being. The lesson includes investigating the environmental savings of using recycled paper, comparing the production and recycling of aluminum and plastic, and collecting and analyzing data on recyclable materials.
